The 2025 Wildwood Rock Extreme Enduro has concluded with resounding success, reaffirming its status as Australia’s premier hard enduro motorcycle event. Riders from across the nation converged just outside Melbourne to tackle one of the sport’s most challenging and celebrated courses, with the event delivering a day of thrilling competition and vibrant community spirit.
This year’s race featured a world-class field, with competitors facing steep ascents, technical rock gardens, creek crossings, and demanding man-made obstacles. Despite wet conditions, a large crowd attended, enjoying multiple viewing points, food trucks that created a true offroad festival atmosphere.
The racing kicked off with Sherco Motorcycle rider Will Riordan #39 taking charge of the race, having not raced at Wildwood before it didn’t take long for the rider to settle in. Previous Wildwood champions in Wade Ibrahim and Ruben Chadwick applied the pressure to Will from the start and this meant accuracy was essential to not be passed.
Will’s comments: I really enjoyed the event, it was so great to see spectators so close to key viewing areas and supporting the event riders. The track was challenging with a number of sections that had me testing my skills to get around. Really happy with the win and the event atmosphere.
